| Michael Willner, Founder
Michael Willner established himself as one of Information Technology’s pioneers with his innovative use of offshore resources, and has personally established new professional service and delivery standards that have since become industry benchmarks. He has earned his reputation by delivering high-end IT services to both government and commercial marketplaces. As Program Manager for the U.S. Department of Energy with Vanguard Technologies, he helped create data collection, validation and sampling for the complex American energy industry. At Cincinnati Bell Information Systems, he handled a $100M line of business that delivered technical resources to all Federal entities, including military installations. He received awards from CBIS for his value-added delivery concepts
Michael went on to and design and create highly profitable and respected staffing operations for CISD International (an Itochu Corporation). While he was with CISD he managed the building of core operational systems for Mazda Motors, and Isuzu. These development activities were conducted in the Philippines between 1991 and 1993 well before offshore development was a mainstream activity. Michael then opened offices in Bangalore, India to supply the US marketplace with some of the world’s best technical talent . Ernst & Young then hired him to build a staffing entity which would fulfill all their Information Technology contracting requirements throughout the Americas. The firm he created, Net-Strike Worldwide, with Michael as President, ultimately achieved revenues exceeding $140M per year, with an average of 550 contractors deployed monthly. A later company he founded, TierOne Consulting, was sold in 2006 to a publicly traded firm. Mr. Willner is a Board Member for Isensix and he holds a B.A. and a Juris Doctor degree.
